The Paul Tillich Park Finger Labyrinth

The Paul Tillich Park Finger Labyrinth was inspired by a walk through the Paul Tillich Park in New Harmony, Indiana in May 2007. Paul Tillich Park is the final resting place of the philosophical theologian Paul Tillich (1886-1965). At specific points through the park stones are engraved with Tillich’s thoughts. Having had several advanced seminars on Tillich’s thought, as I walked through the park it became clear that the park could be envisioned as a labyrinth grounded in Tillich’s systematic theological thought. This labyrinth was created as a tool to break free of our historical time and to touch the Spirit deep within. When you visit New Harmony, Indiana be sure to take a copy of this labyrinth and walk it in person, until then enjoy “walking” through the Paul Tillich Park Finger Labyrinth today - free download below.

As you begin your journey down the labyrinth pathway imagine walking under a canopy of tall Norwegian Spruce trees, cool and calm, with beams of light dancing through the branches. Enjoy your walk through the Paul Tillich Park Finger Labyrinth - download it free today!
